After graduating from Cornell and studying photography at RIT, I moved to the Hudson Valley where I have been a commercial photographer for the past 30 years. Most recently, I have been working as a digital imaging consultant. I have been married for 35 years and my wife, Nora, is an art director. We have grown twin daughters and three grandchildren. Our daughter Katie is a college administrator at SUNY Buffalo. She and her husband, Derrick, and son, Karl, live in the old farmhouse where I grew up. Our other daughter Beth is a project manager for a math software firm and lives with her husband, Pete, son Thomas, and daughter Emma in Boston.
Nora and I love to travel, especially to London and the British Isles, and also spend summer vacations at our family camp in the Adirondacks. I also enjoy collecting rock music and rooting for my favorite basketball team, the NJ Nets.
2010 Update: In 2006, our family grew by one more grandchild, when granddaughter Grace was born to our daughter Katie.
In 2009, I had spinal surgery in the spring and spent most of the rest of the year recuperating. I'm now working on regaining my upper-body strength -- going to the gym regularly, doing DIY projects around the house, and working full-time.
Otherwise, things are pretty much the same -- same house, same job, same wife, and I still root for the NJ Nets, in spite of the season they had last year!
