Class of 1965 Reunion

What a great weekend we had at our 40th reunion!! It felt so good to be all together again, didn't it? Just to see eveyone's faces was a trip!! The food was good, the music fun, the conversation lively, and Friday night at Olcott was great. Everyone who came “made the party.” Thanks to all!

The only complaint heard so far is that it was far too short... there just wasn't enough time to spend talking to each other. We missed seeing those of you who could not make it--hopefully you can come to the next one! Check out the full list of those who attended here.

As those who attended can attest, you really can pick up with your old friends right where you left off. It was a very happy time and it left many of us wishing we could get together more often. It was in this spirit that we held the annual fall get-together in Western New York (see the Photo Album). This year, some classmates in the Southern US got together as well.

So think about getting together with classmates who live near you! That way you can talk over what you’d like to see for a reunion in 2010 for our 45th. Share your thoughts. What should we do the same? What should we do differently? If you have pictures of your get-togethers, send them to ourwebmaster Chip along with a brief report. This website will continue; check it often and use the message board to keep the interest up. The plan is to keep the site running as a clearinghouse for changes of address, contact information, additions to biographies, and notices of upcoming events, so keep checking back and be sure and send in updates as there are changes in your lives, and please make sure we have your correct e-mail address (we promise no junk mail).

Next year, the Western NY group will be meeting at Glenn and Luisa Cooke’s home in Victor. As soon as we pick a date I will let you all know.

So, until we meet again, happy trails. Remember the thoughts of our newly crowned class philosopher, Dennis Besco: "Get up in the morning and take on what is presented to you for the day and make the most of it." ... and one from David Bowman, who couldn't make it to the reunion: "May harmony and sunshine find you all."

Meanwhile, Happy Holidays to all! Write me anytime, especially if you have ideas for next reunion. I don't know who will be coordinating it, but I'm happy to gather the information in the meantime.

Take care, and keep in touch! ~Pam K.
